Remote server connections provide an easy way to copy/paste
files between your local computer and the server. The setup will depend on whether you are using the RDC client or the older TS client. (That
said, please be aware copying files is slow because your
connection to the server is slow compared to sitting in the
office.)
Remote Desktop Connection Client:
Go to the settings (right mouse click, select Edit from the
menu) and select the
Disk drives check box. Your
drives will appear on the Windows Explorer and may be opened
like any other drive. Assuming you can locate the file on
your computer, simply use copy/paste to move it to the server or
vice versa. You can download the installer
here.

Terminal Server Client:
Download the zip file(s) below.
Open the clients folder and paste the contents into C:\Program
Files\Terminal Services Client folder. You may then copy a
file to the clipboard and switch to the TS client, which will
move the file to the server.

session printers.

Licensing Problems:
If a TS profile or RDP file fails to open and displays an error
message about a licensing issue, it is likely the TS licensing
key has become corrupted. Go to the Start button -> Run
dialog. Paste the following line into the dialog and click
OK.
REG DELETE HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSLicensing |
